Erik Beguin, Chief Executive Officer

Erik Beguin is CEO of Libertad Bank and has over 14 years of financial services and new venture experience. Prior to Libertad Bank, he founded Libertad Financial, a financial services marketing and research firm. He served as its President until selling the company in 2004.

Mr. Beguin was previously a product manager for Works, Inc., where he played a leading role in the development of an Internet based commercial credit card platform. Bank of America subsequently acquired Works. Mr. Beguin held positions in brand management for Procter and Gamble in both the Secret® Brand and Corporate New Ventures, and began his career as a CPA and management consultant for KPMG.

Mr. Beguin is very involved in the community as an active volunteer and member of multiple community service organizations Mr. Beguin holds an inactive MN CPA license, an MBA with Distinction from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, graduated Summa Cum Laude from Luther College where he was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, was the winner of the Austin Under 40 Award for Financial Services in 2007, and is a member of the Leadership Austin Class of 2008.
